Of course!
Nothing too special, but I'm glad he hasn't been abused or traumatized. It's great that you rescued all of yours. I actually got him from a breeder who was retiring due to bird fancier's lung, so he needed a home. He's about 7 months old now and in training to be an ESA! Not sure if you've heard of people like tinysaurusrex on tumblr, but pigeons can be great companions for people with disability. I could qualify for a psychiatric service animal, but I really don't feel comfortable keeping a dog or miniature horse in either my dorm or at home. I travel back and forth between California and Rhode Island for school as well, and expenses aren't as high for someone like me.
I'd love to rescue more pigeons in a loft, but for now I got a Lahore for their size and temperament. He's really quite big!

Bird fancier's lung is a disease that can be caused by the dust released by dusty birds such as doves and pigeons. It doesn't affect most owners who only have a few birds unless things are really messy in the house. Breeders sometimes get it later in life because they have access to tons of birds in closed loft spaces. It's a good idea to wear a ventilation mask when cleaning up dried poop though!
Unfortunately Loki is still getting used to people! He's a little bit afraid of hands, but we've made great improvement over the past couple weeks. He does bite, but it's because he's either being feisty or territorial. He does coo at his reflection though! No cuddling yet because he's still a bit uncomfortable with people. It'll probably take a few months : )

Thanks for letting me know wow! I just googled it and didn't know it existed till now...sigh which breeders
could do their research and have the time to tend to their birds if they decide to do business. I know not all of
them are like that, but it affects overall health for both bird and human!
Aww that's so precious. I'd give you taming tips but I'm p sure you've handled birds before??
