Very colorful!  I like how you did the values/scales on the face, especially on the cheek.  Subtle, yet nice.  Also, the background flows very nicely, and it even looks like it can almost be fire.  Nice job!

Things you can improve on- line quality.  the lines are placed good, but they are a little messy.  It is kinda distracting for a line to go from thick to thin so abruptly.  Also, the red on the scales is kind odd.  they do not look like part of the dragon, instead they stand apart due to their boldness.

But overall, this is awesome!  I can see a good deal of improvement.  Oh, and that eye: Good job
