This is a last-minute entry for 's art contest, featuring his and 's OCs, Alex (right) and Lilian (left).
The theme for this contest was 'First Kiss', but whenever I tried to draw a nice happy scene of two shy people kissing, it always just felt really fake to me. I started thinking that no matter what, I couldn't find a genuine-looking first kiss idea I liked. So then I started drawing this, which is a little more emotional. While drawing I thought that no first kiss is going to be perfect, no matter how you look at it. I think what's more important than setting or mood is what the first kiss symbolizes more than how it's done. In my experience, it means a connection of trust between two people and the expressed desire to become more invested in that relationship.

And then I wound up with this drawing. So there you go, romantic advice ala yours truly.
