Just an ordinary brush) But I added a very big amount of water. It was tricky at first: all these splashes tried to flow somewhere I didn't wanted. I rotated the paper to set a direction for a new splash, then - added a color drop and just let it flow down. After the splash is done, I quickly rotate the image for a new splash (don't let the paper dry!)
