Aww, this is too cute. You managed to make it really clean and detailed. I love the gradients as well, congrats!

Brings back memories of the second game.

Aww, thank you so much!
I've just recently finished the trilogy release on the Switch, it was so nice to replay them all again. I think this trial particularly sticks me, it's such fun.

There was something really special about the conflict that Phoenix had as a lawyer and how he had to join forces with Edgeworth for that final case. The circus one always brings the package down a bit for me since it wasn't that fun, but it was a good entry overall. I love how they developed the Fey family as well

I imagine you played the rest as well? I'm only missing the crossover and the Sherlock Holmes games, myself.

The circus one is a bit of a downer for me too. I can't put my finger on it, perhaps it was Moe's segments haha. It takes me a while to get into the Mask Demasque case as well, I just find it a bit tough to gel with the characters.

Not quite, I've only played the original trilogy, Apollo Justice and the first Miles Edgeworth investigations. I think there's another one or two on the 3DS I can make but I haven't gotten around to them yet. No crossovers played either but certainly something I'll play myself, or have on Youtube in the background.

I'd say it's a mix of Moe and the circus music mostly. You were either hearing that while talking to the circus people or looking at the snow with no music at all. Demaske starts slow, but at least I did like the characters there. It's the least interesting one from T&T, though.

I see, if you find the chance to play Investigations 2 give it a try! It's a strange game in the sense that I liked the fourth chapter more than the last one, and some cases drag on too much, but as an overall game I enjoyed it a lot more than Investigations 1. It also brings back many more faces from the original trilogy than I could have asked for.

Regarding the 3ds games not made by Shu Takumi... I'd say Dual Destinies is my least favourite in the series, but it's not a bad game. They just tried to juggle too much. (New lawyer character, Phoenix coming back and Apollo in the sidelines). Spirit of Justice was great and actually continues Apollo's story, so I think it's on par with the DS entries, with a really good cast. Since we'll probably get a new game announced this year I'd suggest you to catch up!

For the past week, I've been watching someone do a Let's Play of Dual Destinies. I actually really enjoyed it, I really liked the twist at the end. The youtuber included the DLC case as the 3rd case I think, which made the game feel more fluid, I imagine playing it at the very end would've been really strange, it's a shame it was added as DLC and not just included in the main game. I found most of the trials were hard to get into at the start, I liked Athena but I didn't find her as engaging as Phoenix and Apollo. But she did warm to me in the end and I found by the time it was the half way point in pretty much all the cases, they became very engaging. But yeah, not the best in the series, it took time to like some of the characters but all in all, it wasn't bad at all.

I've just started watching someone play Spirit of Justice, who also mentions that the game has had very positive reviews so I am really looking forward to seeing how this game turns out! Unfortunately I just don't have the spare money to go and buy the games at the moment, even though I know the story line I wasn't 110% focused on the videos all the time so I will definitely be buying them once I'm more financially comfortable. I adore the Phoenix Wright series, I don't think I'll spoil Investigations 2 and I'll just blind play that one but I'm in such a PW mood that I have to watch the continuation. So excited to draw some of my favourite characters too! I already think Ahlbi is so cute, I hope there isn't a horrible twist with him but I'll have to wait and see haha<3<3

I saw your drawing of her yesterday and I really liked it <3 I won't spoil you anything, but I hope you enjoy the development of the characters. It's a really good entry in that sense and makes me hopeful for a new game. Capcom used to do some sales for their 3ds games, so I got both of them for under 17€, if I remember correctly. Maybe you can't be on the look for that, or a sale on the android store.

Regarding the Dual Destinies cast, I just think the fact that they just juggled with the case order and playable characters just hurted the game overall, but Athena by herself is a likeable character. They gave everyone more room to breath in SoJ due to having the groups separated, and since you already know her you get more chances to enjoy their interactions with both the new and returning characters.

Perhaps I was also a bit upset because of not being able to examine everywhere, since you were limited to mostly walk until someone new appears, but that isn't so noticeable when watching it online. They fixed it for SoJ, thankfully.

From what I remember, the characters' backstories were good, and I remember liking all cases and cast overall, except for how case 4 wasn't really a full case and more like the first half of case 5, and perhaps a couple of characters that were too over the top with the bipolar personalities. (Robin Newman and Marlon Rimes)
