You could try eBay? I got mine from a friend who won the competition twice and got most of the cards, then gave me the other one

i got the four cards that came with the game and an old friend of mine won 2 spectrobe competitions so he got 2 sets of cards and gave me a set.
I don't know if you can buy it in stores but there is a collectors edition of spectrobes that comes with all the cards

Don't think I'd want to buy another copy of the game, just to get more cards... ah well, the second game's comming out soon, hopefully that'll come bundled with some more cards. its not lik you need them, to complete the game, anyway!

Plush-Drops In reply to Victorygreymaster [2008-11-10 02:18:41 +0000 UTC]
Yeah i didn't want to either.
I got the second game, cause it has come out in America and my local gametraders was selling it and it does come with new cards but to suit the new game not the old game.
What i did for the cards i didn't have with the first game is get a piece of paper, measure the size and put in the areas where there are dots and use that, its even better than the card itself.

Well i know [link] has the collectors edition of the game where you get all the cards though i don't know if you want to go that far to buy the game again though.
I got my cards from a friend cause they won the Spectrobes pack 2 times from different sites and gave me one.

I love Spectrobes, while I don't own the first game (I tried it out, more of a rental, I just don't see a point in leveling if there are no WiFi Battles, which luckily the second game will have) I will get the second game. But I am thinking of getting the first game since it's price has dropped. I'm sick of people calling it a Pokemon Rip-off when it has no similarities (People who want to fight against this; save your little points; I can back it up by saying "Pokemon ripped off of Monster Collection" there you have it, Pokemon wasn't the first Monster Collecting game, got it? good.)

The point of leveling them up is so that it is easier to kill the further bosses, the last one was the hardest it took me about 4 days to kill.
Well the evolving and such is similar to Pokemon, even some of the Spectrobes look like from some older games i have, but apart from that it is pretty original and is different to Pokemon, i like the fact of having an incubator and attaching parts to the Spectrobe.
Im definitely going to get the second one, Spectrobes is one of my favourite DS games.

You can't buy the cards, my friend had entered 2 spectrobe competitions and won both of them, he gave me those cards as they were part of the competition.
Im not going to submit more than one, DA likes to delete them

Sorry its been soo long i can't really remember, your best bet is to have leveled your Spectrobes to a high level, i always stayed 20 levels ahead and mainly use the Special attacks

Ok i just did a little research, this is your best bet killing it.
To win the battle, you must destroy Trunkos. He is the only enemy you will
fight in this battle.
Now, the best way to fight Trunkos would be at a distance with Spectrobes like
Vilakroma, Vilanox, Samugeki and Dongiga, as they are able to hit him from
a distance.
But, if you do not have any Spectrobe that attacks from long range, you can
still win using one of several strategies.
First, you could run around the stage whilst fully charging your CH meter,
then using it to unleash your combination attack repetitively. Or, you could
take advantage of Trunkos' pauses.
Trunkos will stop moving from time to time, and this is the ideal moment to
attack him. He appears to stop moving for about 3 seconds after he finishes
his spiral attack, and for about 5 seconds while he puts his mines in the
ground.
Those times may not sound like very much, but it is plenty of time to hit him
at least once with your Spectrobes close range attacks.
Note that using the pause strategy, you will need to stay close to Trunkos,
which may cause you to take quite a bit of damage throughout the course of the
battle, so you will need to use fairly strong Spectrobes.
