Vampire Bat Koroks are a part of the Halloween collection! They will return next fall! They are made of soft minky with a machine embroidered face. They are approximately 8.5" tall and 6" wide. Base pattern by

Much like how Skeleton Koroks live alongside bokoblins, Vampire Bat Koroks are known to make their homes in keese dens! These Koroks are largely nocturnal and sleep in the floors of caves until nightfall. As a result of living in total darkness for most of their lives, the eyesight of Vampire Bat Koroks has greatly diminished. To make up for this however, they have developed an ability to echolocate! As the keese leave the cave to feed, so do the Vampire Bat Koroks! They run on the ground below the keese swarm and use their echolocation to find prey that they then direct the keese towards. The bat-shaped mask the Vampire Bat Koroks wear is entirely decorative, but recent scientific studies have shown changes in their anatomy that suggest the evolution of true wings may be possible.
