I entered the WeLoveFine Steven Universe Design Contest!I have been wanting to enter one of their contests for a while now, and when I saw they were having a Steven Universe one I finally got my butt in gear! This is the first of two entries. I will either upload the other one today or tomorrow. I would LOVE to win so if you could please vote for me I would be forever grateful.

I worked so hard on this design (harder than I've worked on a drawing in a long time ) I think I am really getting the hang of Photoshop and layers now! I tried to draw the gems as close to show style as I could and I think I did fairly well. I also tried to make their poses more dynamic and not just the usual stand-with-hand-to-side that I normally do XD I just love all the gem's designs- they were so fun to draw! I will definitely be doing more Steven Universe fan art in the future.
Making the background was super fun. It is based off of the scenery in the spinning mechanism in the episode "Serious Steven".
