The story of Bioshock was amazing...but I was too scared to actually play the game. It creeped me out. I'm such a 'fraidy cat!

Well it's just that I watched my dad play it for awhile (while being ever so slightly terrified...and flinching every time they injected the ADAM. Ouch!) Then one time he was picking up something off a desk.
When he turned around, there was a crazy guy in a doctor's mask babbling psychotically and raising a monkey wrench above his head like a Nazareth banner. I screamed like a boy. That was when I decided not to play it.

No. I just didn't like the way he jammed it into his main artery. WHILE THERE WAS A CRAZY FREAKING DOCTOR IN THE ROOM.
But I am afraid of other things. Scary movies, girls, being alone in the dark, sleeping without something next to me (I cuddle in my sleep. Many an awkward moment has been had in my friends' double beds.) Oh, and James. He wants to go through my computer history.

on the contrary, I thought Bioshock 2 was more fun to play than the first, and originality is maybe too much to expect from a sequel. The new elements it did introduce were very effective, like the Big Sisters, for example.

When I woke up this morning I was really confused about why I put "wasn't all that fun-" up there. It was much more fun than the first game; it was fun period. The lack of story development or change is all I'm really mad about.
Hell, I can't tell you how happy I was when I realized I could choose what I ate.: B Big Sister fights were really entertaining, as was the last level, which I think was better than the ending of Bioshock. Probably could've gone without the sister fetching, but even that was optional wasn't it?
It's what I hate about sequels. It felt like they weren't thinking about the storyline as a whole, or really at all. I wish this had been Bioshock the one and only.
Now I'm going to stay awake at night wondering whether I should edit the comments or not. Prolly be fixed in two weeks or so.<3

Baw, I liked it! I just don't think it added very much to the story. Kinda like Silent Hill 3, though it's one of my favorites and is made very well, it brought absolutely nothing to the tale except "SILENT HILL IS ATTACKED BY A CRAZY GOD CULT AGAIN? BWUH? "
