~Bleach OC, Aurora, Shino Academy Uniform~

Some of you might recognize this young lady. ^u^ Starting with her story while she’s a youngster, Aurora’s learning the ropes of the Shinigami world, and begins her training officially at the Shino Academy. There, she meets several individuals that end up being long-time companions and associates she’s grateful to have.

This is quite a while back in the timeline from the artwork that I’ve gotten done of her Soul Soceity Arc look. As a teen starting out learning the basic arts, she hadn’t really found her footing as a Soul Reaper just yet. But she’s learning. Here’s a little bit more about her from the beginning:

*Has been working with her sword with her for a number of years (long before she’s taken to the Seireitei). When Aurora came-to in the Western Rukongai as a child, her Zanpakuto spirit was what guided her through the earliest part of her life.

*Lived at Squad One once she was brought into the Seireitei before beginning classes at the Shino Academy. Is under the charge of Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto.

*Was given the namesake Reimei; shortly afterward, it became Aurora, compliments of Chojiro Sasakibe and his Western-culture leanings.

*Enjoys the curriculum at the Academy. All the same, she has a hard time getting used to the operations of Kido, and something she’s slow in learning.

*Very withdrawn; not a sociable type. She’s slow to get opening up with new people.

*Usually wears her hair down; during long or intense practices, Aurora keeps it back in a ponytail.

*Finds that she really enjoys spending idle time exploring her sensei’s library and reading.
