Here it is!! The Big Birthday project for 2013, done up for my younger sister *SalientGrey and me.

Yup… You aren’t seeing things. :3 This year, Sis and I decided to go with the theme from one of her AU comics, and caricaturize a number of Bleach characters.

So, here’s 11 of the Shinigami, including my OC Aurora, duded up in Ol’ Timey Western Gear!!

It took quite a while to get these all together (I’ve been sewing/gluing/painting for several days straight ) But, I made my personal deadline, and got them finished for our birthdays.

And you can bet, there will be more projects to go along with the theme of this one. Would have love to have gotten our Squad 11 Banditos, and some members of the Aizen Gang.

~Karakura Gulch Residents~

~Sherriff Byakuya Kuchiki- Sexy long arm of the law in the dusty town; keeps a strict, albeit impassive eye on the settlers in and around town, keeping his focus on the gangs stationed outside of town

~Deputy Renji Abarai- The active duty member of the law enforcement, charged with keeping things in line in town. Is associated and works with the vigilante Ichigo Kurosaki, helping him with his exploits whenever he’s able.

~Dr. Jushiro Ukitake- The resident medical authority. Given his treatment for his own illness, he’s taken it upon himself to give care to those who need it whenever they’re buckshot or bushwhacked (usually courtesy of the girls at the Wet Whistle).

~Marshall Shunsui Kyoraku- Formerly the town drunk Kyoraku, he was tasked as the successor to the previous Lawman Genryusai Yamamoto upon his downfall. Grudgingly, he accepted, and has casually overseen the duties of the other two capable lawmen… while continuing to be a faithful patron at the Wet Whistle.

~Aurora, the “Lady of Karakura Gulch”- One of the celebrated performers/courtesans at the Wet Whistle. Is well known for the care she gives her patrons, as well as the professionalism she carries herself with at her day job, which only a select few know about…

~Ol’ Timey Druggist Hanataro Yamada- Runs the exceptionally successful Drug Store of Karakura Gulch (being one of the only places that the Banditos de Kenpachi and the Aizen Gang forget to hit up whenever they pass through). He oftentimes assists Dr. Ukitake in his medical procedures, having fair knowledge on the subject.

~Bartender Toshiro Hitsugaya- The aloof keeper of the brew at the local cat house. He operates his bar apart from Madame Unohana’s, leasing a part of her building and sharing in the local business. Withdrawn about the surrounding pursuits of his co-workers, he gives a usually unsympathetic ear to whatever woes his customers attempt to share with him.

~Rangiku “Missy” Matsumoto- One of the main attractions of the Wet Whistle, she does a fine job of bringing in customers by reputation alone in the evening… and doing whatever possible to get out of any chores before her shift starts.

~Gin “Squinty” Ichimaru- Gambler, cardsharp, cheater, and local nuisance to Karakura Gulch. One of the few members of the Aizen Gang that Sherriff Kuchiki doesn’t immediately run out of town, he’s a welcome client at the Wet Whistle card table, being one of the heaviest tippers in the territory, in lieu of the girls’ blind eye to his shady shuffling.

~Soifon, aka “Ma’am”- The MC, as well as Bouncer at the Wet Whistle, she’s in charge of keeping the order at the cat house, day and night. Despite her small stature, she’s more than capable of making any patron toe the line she draws.

~Father Padre Reverend Mayuri Kurotsuchi- The local… “religious” authority (whenever it suits him, usually for a profit). Has been known to dabble in medicines and new-fangled gadgetry whenever he’s in the company of his rival Kisuke Urahara and his Traveling Candy Wagon. Customarily, he and his assistant Sister Nemu traverse around the territory, in pursuit of riches of whatever kind (gold, rigging lotteries, playing cards, etc…).
