Shadow is my husband. I will fight you.
So for this doll, as usual, I got rid of the factory paint and original hair. The doll I used for Shadow was Cerise Hood from Ever After High.
Her ears are sculpted from Apoxie and are held in with wire.
I brushed and straightened out some red and black yarn, glued it to her head, and trimmed her bangs.
Her jacket is from a Bratz fashion pack I believe. One of my favorite little pieces of clothing I've ever owned. To represent the tuft of fur on Shadow's chest, I glued some white faux fur onto the collar. I sewed a little tube top out of some stretchy fabric for her to wear underneath the jacket. I also sewed her pants and felt it looked a little plain, so I added a belt I had lying around. I believe that also belonged to Cerise?
For her gloves, I painted the dolls hands white and sculpted the rings and cuffs with Apoxie again, painting them to match the character.
And lastly her shoes. I really wanted to keep these for something special because they're just so beautifully detailed and AMAZING. They originally came with Raven Queen in the School Spirit double pack she comes in with Apple White. The spikes and chains are so beautiful and it makes me sad that a lot of the details in the shoes are lost because they're all in one color. I painted them to match Shadows weird rocket shoes as closely as possible, of course with a few creative liberties thrown in just because I thought they'd look pretty.
