have been wanting to bring flufferbuns back for a while now, and slowly we're in the process of doing just that ><
(and yes, they'll remain either a semi-open species or open completely)

i've personally been struggling with adhd getting worse as an adult, and i've been finding a lot of
comfort in my special interests & fixations - so i really wanted buns to represent that in some way
since at their initial creation, their key feature was having a "favorite things" and themeing themselves after it

i'm pushing that idea that each bun has a special interest that makes them feel comfortable and cozy (thus the name cozybuns)
and so their appearance changes to match that! that also each have a little tiny matching friend called a cozycritter

think of cozybuns now as a pokemon or chameleon that transforms into something new that expresses what they love!

can i make a cozybun now?:
if you want! there'll be a guide eventually giving you the basics for how to make one

what about my old flufferbuns?:
all previously existing flufferbuns can be turned into a cozybun, just give them a little friend! you can also now have all paws
instead of needing to have hooves in the back, its optional now! as long as they have big fluffy bodies and a little friend,
they're a cozybun!

can i make / sell cozybun adoptables?:
we would really appreciate if your reason for making buns wasn't just to profit off of them, so no. at this time you cannot
purposefully make cozybun adopts to sell. nothing has stopped you from making themed sheep critters before, so this shouldnt be a problem! ^^''

can i draw them anthro?:
of course! draw them however you feel most comfortable! the idea behind cozybuns is that they should make you feel comfy and happy to draw c:
