Growing up, Carmen and Bruno were extremely close friends. Both developing feelings for each other over time, but neither ever confessed. For years they were just a whole “will they won’t they” deal. Carmen was Bruno’s sole confidant when it came to his family and his gift. She was planning to tell him her feelings, but then Bruno disappeared. This left her feeling heartbroken as she was left longing for him, never marrying or finding another love. Once Bruno gets reintegrated back into the Madrigal family, they have a reunion where they both confess that they’ve always loved each other BOOM HAPPY ENDING 💚

Also fun fact lol she has a green palette bc I noticed that the different sides in the Madrigal family are color coordinated and I think that’s really cool so!!! I wanted to have her match with Bruno idk 🤧
