the ones pictured here are 8", and I will not make them bigger than that. I offer a new type of plushroom called a polarploom, which are around 12" tall and they are made out of polar fleece. See my journal for more information, if you please.

Although I just checked a tape measure and 20 inches is HUGE. I don't know if I would be willing to make one that big O__O

I'll think about it and let you now when I start accepting orders again, Dec. 17.
Those two animals should be ok. It would be good to put that thick cord to some use...
But, 20 inches is still huge! I think around 15" should be plenty big.

Making patterns is something I do not enjoy, so no dice!
Although if it was a simple animal (Bunny, cat, teddybear), and you didn't want it embroidered/decorated heavily, I would consider it. That wouldn't be too bad, plus I actually have some thicker cord and bigger pompoms for larger sized ones. They were for the polarplooms before I decided to make their legs out of polarfleece.

I say it all in my DA journal, located here: [link]
It's a lot to read, but it has all the info you need.
the price varies for each type, but they go from 16.40 US and up (not including shipping, and shipping for the united states seems to always be $6.50)
and theres a discount if you buy more than one!

Aaah! *wants the fox and black, white, and dead cats* These are so cute! *teehee* the panda looks like it's wearing undies...
Honestly, they look like something I'd see in an upscale department store or an art museum store (a la Ugly Doll); the fox looks particularly Joan Miro-esque.
That's it, it's Miro meets Invader Zim!

wow, all of these are great! nice job! Now, do u first sew the body together and then revers it, and then u do the same with the head, and once u do that u stuff them and them sew the two together?

plushrooms In reply to craigowler [2005-10-23 19:48:11 +0000 UTC]
Yep, everything is sewn in reverse first, and then flipped inside out. Then the head and body are sewn together by hand (and the tail, too, if it has a tail)

I have secret powers.
No, they're sewn into the body when I sew that together. I pin them on while the body is in reverse, sew, then flip out and poof! instant legs. I'm not very good at describing the process, but there it is.
