I think the picture is good... theres nothing that really needs to be changed about it besides the expression on your face. the window and curtains etc. provide a sense of background, they dont call that much attention to themselves and you need those aspects to complete the picture...

I like this one a lot. The best of the new entries (self-portrait series) I really like the fist with the cross and the dogtags.
But I also agree with flesh-n-color on his constructive critiques.

IO think this would be a stronger photo if it was just the hand with teh cross and dog tags. On a technical aspect, id have to say see if the camera has some spot meter capabilities on it to get rid of the window wash. and while were on the window, its a tad bit too high.
I think you can do well with some window shots, but you have to take into consideraton every aspect of the piece. Like how distracting those particular curtains are and whether you want the focus on the hand or the face.
Simple details.
Its a good start, and dont take any of this bad. Just a critique
