oh no scanner. i still love it though, you can fix it by just adjusting the exposure with photoshop or something.

I hear the music from Swan Lake in my head when i look at this picture.
It sucks that your scanner doesn't work well, I really wish it were a little darker. I feel like I'm missing some great detail.
I love the way the varied line weights guide your eye around the picture, although it kind of stops at the hands. Maybe if there were a little bit of dark outline on the edges of the tutu on the left to draw the eye back up? Just a thought.

ill just close my eyes and imagine the subtle beauties contained in this image... the line art is enough for me...
u should try digital colouring... its something ive wanted to try for a while... i always thought it was kinda cheating.. but its nice when the scanner sucks

It is amazing though I had a hard time seeing the details. I like how you add touches of color. I also like the birds coming from the girls head and all the feathery stuff. Great picture. Oh and at least you don't have to pay $3 to use the scanner *grumbles about the stupid library*

Some scanners have the ability to scan with brighter or darker contrast; perhaps if you tried changing those settings, you might get a darker line. Awesome work, though!

i like the variety of line, to make some countours thicker it emphasises her face and hands and stuff like that
thats all the art lingo i can muster at the moment
