What a unique piece! This is quite stunning... I adore the overlay technique you have used, it creates such an unusual sense of disorientation and motion - not an unpleasent sense however, it has an almost nostalgic, dream-like quality. The slanted silhouettes add to this... I'm certainly tempted to interpret this composition as a range of hills and a lake at sunset, but the sense of distortion encourages me to read into the image further. The muted sepia tone is lovely, it gives the piece a feeling of history. It's almost like a memory beginning to fade.
I also enjoy the fact that the base of the silhouettes seem 'cut out' - although it might detract from realism (which I expect doesn't concern you, considering that this piece is categorised as surreal) I feel that it gives the image a very expressive quality, even a personality.
