Drew this as a submission for this year's Souvenir Guide at SDCC. I've been waiting for another Usagi Yojimbo Anniversary event to finally submit some artwork. It features Usagi and his son Jotaro.This is also the first year that the Souvenir Guide will be in color, so I was equally stoked about that.
Stan Sakai, creator of Usagi Yojimbo, is an incredible artist and storyteller, and I continually look to him as a mentor and as inspiration. He is truly a class act that I hope to follow!
I will probably make postcards of this art to pass out at cons this year.
