Nice work! I like how intense the shadows and lines are. Is this Wacom + Photoshop?

Well, even more of a testament to your talent, then. What brush setting do you use for those lines? They're so clean. Whenever I color a sketch I've scanned, it always has all these lines that turn out half-gray, even if I ink it first.

it's not even about the brush size, it's done by selections. in photoshop after you scan it, do you adjust the levels of contrast? or do you auto-level it?
if you adjust the levels you can get at least the black lines to be as black as possible, with this said you still have to go in a clean the lines up if you want them looking slick.
hope that helps.
cheers!

Selections? After I scan it, I play with the levels (ctrl-L ones) to darken the lines and get rid of most of the gray tones. When you go in and clean up the lines, are you using a brush, or... ?
Thanks for the advice, it's much appreciated. I'm a fan of your work (lines in particular!)

yes i use a brush, but i retrace the lines by doing a selection to reshape them and then i use a brush to paint it.
