That's what the picture says to me...
it's like you are not nervous anymore because you re used to his presence but... there's this unknown feeling in your stomach and the fear of him not to come.

Wow, that's cool... I love to think about what the artist wants to show with their work. Especially in emotive portraits, you can find so many expressions - mainly on the face - and that's what's so beautiful about it.
To give foreign people the feeling you have got or something like that.
