i love pictures like this,set at nighttime with only one person to be seen,with streetlights,and even though i know it's cigarette smoke it reminds me of winter.
and how it gets so cold that you can see your breath.
the gradating backround is really neat,how on the bottom is goes from light to dark,makes it look like the sun is coming up.but also the face is -beautiful- i really love how you shaded it and make the eyes such a pale blue,it's kind of shocking againest the rest of the colours.

Awesome. I'm doing the exact same thing with my comic; black and white, whilst the eyes are painted (and red for blood >D).
I really like the background and the mood you had this picture set for. His hand seems a bit too small, otherwise, it's really neat. I love the shading, it is the most impressing feature on the whole picture. Very clean and neat. And, for some strange reason, I like his eyebrows. o_o;
