I drew this pretty quickly... originally I wanted to make it a group picture, and Link looked a little taller, but still based on his original NES young link form.In case you can't tell, I was mimicking Akira Toriyama's beautiful style.
I had a few other characters on a paper version... but the only two I liked were Midna ( who I used Beelzebub from Sand Land to get an idea on how her face would look... I didn't draw the mask ) and Tingle ( Who I made look identicle to Dr. Slump's Suppa man/Bubbinbin man/Parzan ...which doesn't make sense but It worked way too well... )

Nice, The wind waker style, to me, resembles somewhat of Akira Toriyama's art style. Would be cool though if Toriyama designed the artwork for a Legend of Zelda game!

since you love it when I comment. I got one here ^_^; I think it's a nice style, if Akira did make a LOZ manga adapation..it would have the right amount of action and humor in the series. Closest I'll get to my impossible dream of Link time traveling and meeting Cronos X3;

You know, this got me thinking about how it would look if Toriyama was the lead designer for a Zelda-game.

yeah, maybe some enemies would resemble some of those from the Dragon Quest + Dragonball series, like the stalfos would resemble the Pirate Robot.
