I did this a while back as a thank you for a relative for picking me up from Uni when my Dad couldn't drive...I had a lot of stuff.It doesn't look great I know but it looks a little better in real life and I did try.
I used several pictures of boots for references but the pattern I made up as I am still not great at proportionals and the actually pattern I kept drawing too big for the boot.

This is probably late - sorry my studies are consuming my life.
It was actually taking seperate pictures of a pair of boots and a hat then drawing them together and I changed the design on the boots and simplified the hat.

But if I may point out one thing, on the boots, there is a gap between the heel and the rest of the shoe's sole.

Ah that is a tribute to my poor (judgement) skills...it was meant to be a highlight on the sole, but it does look more like a gap you're right. Thank you for pointing it out and taking the time to comment, much appreicated
