Thanos the Mad titan, one of the most popular and well known villains in the Marvel franchise. Now he's a very complex villain because while one can call him evil, you sort of feel for him at the end of the day but let's go over his Background.

Originally born on the Moon of Titan, Thanos grew up a relatively normal life born to a mother but lacked a father to be his side. While his father loved him, his mother scorned him and tried to kill him after Birth. His Purple skin color also made him stand out due to him being the only being on titan with Purple skin.

Years later, he fell in love with the Living embodiment of Death and was willing to kill all the universe just to impress her.

But in another universe and story, Thanos actually had a different reason for becoming the way he is now.

He saw that there was too much in the universe due the threat of overpopulation, so he sought to kill of half the universe and thought it would create a better universe for all. He felt as if he was saving the Universe, but no matter how many armies he Amassed or how many he killed off. It was never enough, so what to do. He decided to gather the most powerful objects, the Infinity stones. This would give him the power to finally save the Universe.

after his goal was completed, he retired to a farm.

There are a list of other crimes he did such as

Kill Groot's home planet

Slaughtered Drax's wife and daughter

Killed Gomora's planet and took her parents away.

Punched out his own Father who loved him.

Tormented Gamora and Nebula.

So at the end of the day, was Thanos truly evil or could he just call him super flawed.
