ah, how do you get that beautiful fluffiness that's in the fox's tail? I really love how the characters are done more simplified so that they stand out against the background

Hey! I used a few different shades of gouache paint and did dry-brushing between the colors on the interior of the tail. The outside of the tail is with a big Sumi brush and ink.
