Merry Christmas everyone. Even if you don't celebrate it, I hope you have a good year ahead of you.

I must confess, I know nothing about KanColle. I saw Shimakaze's designs around the internet for a while and I always thought it was some niche vocaloid. Until recently I found out that she's from KanColle. I can't help but notice the numerous fanservice that fan artists tend to depict of her. Either way, for some reason I actually like her character design, it's very distinctive and I certainly recognised it even if I didn't know the franchise.

I just wanted to draw her on a bed. There's no intelligent reason on why. But I'm happy on how this turned out. Something nice to end the year.
