I think it would be cool if the scroll thing in front was another colour to separate it from the bg, I reckon a bone colour would look real rad and bring it closer to the image above it.
Also, the scratchy lines around the evil one's eyes are awesome, but they make her look a lil worried somehow! Not a biggie. I love the symmetry you've done between the two, not noticable at first but on closer inspection you see it! Kewl...
