Description Thought I'd show you NCHL vs N2+C, both of which are great shaders and I recommend them. The last two were using maps that came with N2+C, and both shaders look really cool with them.
Conclusion:
Skin: N2+C is slightly more realistic

Metal: N2+C is really good for metal but NCHL is a lot easier to apply and is a lot more shinier, so both are good for different materials (NCHL reacted really badly with her jacket but N2+C gave it a really cool shiny leather effect with the maps)

Leather: Both shaders can do matte leather very well, N2+C can do beautiful shiny leather if you apply one of the metal effects

Glass: I haven't tried either shaders on a potential glass material, but I think it'd tie. NCHL's Metal shader is very shiny and glass like, and N2+C could also pull it off with metal or skin
effects (I used skin on the shirt)

Hair: This is the first time I've ever played with hair using N2+C, it's very tedious to set up but is very realistic. An alternative with NCHL is using the metal2 effect on it with an N2+C map (used in the shangri-la shader test video)

Cloth: For cloth I use another N2+C map with basic NCHL, but the same can be done with multiple effects on N2+C, they just take forever to adjust...

Eyes: Honestly, I still struggle with eyes. Both shaders are absolute crap for doing eyes, so I'm still searching for one that makes the eyes pop but not quite as bright as NCHLShader2.x (Which you should not use at all! Use basic.x and then set up any additional effects)

Thats about it I think.

Model: TDA Hagane CUL

Sadly, this picture doesn't do NCHL2 much justice. The model reacted really weird with the map, where as it usually looks great. To get the best effect, I'd use both shaders together.
