I got a new pen today and wanted to try it. I love it. I like this drawing I did with it. When I got done I saw a boat or ark on the night water so I drew little lines along the bottom to emphasize it...not sure if I like those. Anyway critism is more than welcome and I appreciate your taking a look at my hobby..Related content

this is wonderful drawing, i do agree with u that this is a boat, but when i look at i see more like a leaf on the water and something or some beuatiful mystical creature sits on top of it.

thank you very much! actually there are some places that werent supposed to look the way they did but I draw with a pen and my kids bumped me when I was drawing...guess its all for the better!

thank you very much! I dont know how to do digital art yet...wish I did..I use pens for all of my work...I dont even use pencils anymore...I used to like a year ago but I dont anymore...I love my pens...hehe.

I'm never really sure how to comment on abstract art, knowing very little about it myself.
I quite like the tattoo-type style of the linework and the psychadelic, paisley type influences that I can see.
I think it suits black and white, but some really bold vibrant colours might be nice too.
My only problem with this is it is ENORMOUS, so I actually cannot see it clearly in full view :c

I usually use DR pigment ink (not that good) and suuuper thin (0.25) pens (They're awesome XD)

I'm not sure I'd be able to use a super thin one like that...I push on the paper too hard...I've already broken the tip of one of my pens...

Its all jumbled up and mishapen, thats abstract, I'm not sure what it is but, those lines are well defined and the detail is good.

this work is free flowing i like that alot. what i also like is the intricate detail you went into i did a full view of your picture and the amount of detail you did was defintitely amazing. This is pure DOPENESS miss!!!

Wonderful. I like how you did the curves and stuff. Reminds me of my batchmates' works. She always does those kinds of things, and no doubt she's a really commendable artist. Nice job and keep it up!

Looks really good, Great inking job. The only thing I would say is maybe make the image size a bit smaller so you dont have to scroll so much and get a better view of the image as a whole

really interesting, it could be an interesting tatoo, for your other drawings, sure you are good on drawing flowers in that style i think is great, im just wonder, why an ark full of flowers on the sea? does it have any meaning or is just random? and about those stars on the top of the drawing

actually no I didnt even realize that it looked like flowers until I was done...thats how all my works are mostly...I just doodle with no prethought out plan...I usually am surprised when I'm done to find out what it resembles...the only thing I did deliberately on the ark one is the water underneath when I saw it resembled an ark.

very light, reminds of some peter-pan-esque story.
your description of it lends me to doubt any real intent with this, which is always disconcerting to me.
either way, i like the sense of control you have in your hand. you however might want to challenge yourself more. it's very static. i say, think bigger.

thats a really clean/neat peiece. i like the simplicity of it. maybe try making a 2nd version with color to spruce it up.

The only way I could make a 2nd version is to copy it and try to color it..
I cant draw twice the same way...Ive tried..never turns out right.
