We close our eyesChant a blessing on the herbs
Light the candle for the fire
Turn the knob for lantern light
Passing joy, hope, and power
Throw it in the ground
Build a fire to sit around
To send the message to our lady
I feel the weight lift off my lap
Of things I couldn’t handle
The strength to carry on
Fills my heart and soul
We point our faces to the sky
Scream our emotions silently
Raise our hands above our ears
To catch replies from parents above
Our spirits soar in the smoke
Raise with it reality
We sit and live inside our minds
Learning lessons of another world
In the end we feel so glad
That our parents answered back
Eagerness to return to power
Pushes for the next encounter
