Description Little Mary Pettigrew -
spoiled and pampered through and through,
never heeded sound advice,
never even listened twice.

Her mother told her never go
into the basement down below.
"Your uncle's strange and morbid world
is not the proper place for girls."

But Mary laughed and quipped with glee,
"Now what on earth is that to me?
I have no fear of morbid things."
("I'm not quite sure what morbid means.")

So late at night while others slept,
down the basement stairs she crept.
She came upon a room with bars
with strange and glowing things in jars,

Three headed cats with crooked tails,
the twist and turn of raw entrails.
Dogs with bones pierced through their heads
and things she wasn't sure were dead.

The strangest dolls you ever saw
and then she heard a locking door.
She felt the bite of metal pegs -
the swift removal of her legs.

Mary's screams were never heard.
Her mother never said a word,
but visits Mary in the halls
where little girls are living dolls.

It sounds like the basement from American Horror Story Season 1. That's probably why I found it boring. I mean I expected another, more creative ending.

I can help you!: People with low self esteem can't take criticism. It's important to understand that as an artist because individuals with low self esteem try to think of whoever criticises them as inferior, to cover up for their own insecurity.

Reality is, I'm talented enough with some abilities Just that your piece bores me, like other pieces bore you. And I wanted you to know that because I'm used to talking to artists. Most of them care about negative criticism because they understand that people's opinions can be precious for their art journey. If no one told you that they've already seen something like your piece and got bored, you would have missed the info.

*Laughs* I can assure you I do not suffer low self-esteem. If anything, I have been told I suffer from a surfeit of self-confidence. I thank you for your kind offer; however, after careful consideration I think I will decline.

But people with low self esteem do seem like they have too much of it! It's how the mind covers up for the lack of it. That's why the result is not balanced but a "surfeit" If I were you I would read about it...Then again, don't! I'd be more satisfied knowing you'll be disturbed by criticism all your life.......That made already me lol, honestly. Pffft xD
