Disclaimer: Pay no attention to the stars or their ratings. Instead the review has more to say.
I will not be rating the deviation according to the rating stars because I feel that those are unfair and are way too simplistic. Those stars rarely convey the reason why a critic chose the stars he or she did. In this case, I would rather just write a review. I am not sure that my view may be of any help, but nonetheless, I will try.
In light of recent work, I can say, without a shadow of a doubt, the this piece speaks volumes. As far as content, you have captured so many beautiful things into one. Many viewers are into landscape artwork, and you have gone beyond the call of duty to ensure that this picture captivates the beauty of the ocean, a shoreline, and the faint hint of a cityscape (or the beginnings of one). I really enjoy the horizon because the heavens find a place to meet with the earth below so nicely along with a tear jerking sunset--a tear of joy that is. The works you have created and shared will continue to be a joy to those who view.
Thank you for letting me see and have the honour of critiquing. What I would really like to see next is a cityscape, if you can, of the continuation. Maybe it is not the same spot as this scene, but if you could capture something that could make this into a continuing story, I believe that would be very interesting. Maybe you could even write a story to go along with this and put it into one folder. Anyway, those are my honest feelings. Thank you for your time.

Thank you so much. I think that the problem is, is that I grew up in this town (West Bay)... and I love it. So much of my heart is there. Its where I grew up, and knew my sister. Where her ashes are. I moved to the city at 13 and hated it. I still do really. I think the pictures of this beach are emotional because I feel an emotional connection to them.
I may continue the story if I find an urban landscape that I feel attached to, possibly Bath where I am about to go to Uni. Because I feel 'home' there.

Good luck at the university. I am currently a second year at the one I am attending. I am glad that people out there still value education and its many, many facets. It really is a lovely picture. I was not bringing it down in any way. Maybe you could take more pictures of a few things in the town. Honestly, cityscape doesn't have to be a huge bustling city. Cityscape encompasses a wide variety of things; if it was, all the cityscape material would look the same, but they don't. That's what is beautiful about those kinds of things. And remember, home is where the heart is.
