Description
Counting down the daysto the day I shall die
drowned in my misery
burned from my despair
frozen from desolation
Sneers and laughs
no longer penetrate my soul
my soul long since departed
to places unknown even to me
trudging throughout the dreary day
lonely and alone
finally giving up hope
standing at the jagged edge
Contemplating my fate
saying goodbye
to a world that does not care
for the abomination that is me
One last look
a tear of farewell
as I let the wind take me
with my arms spread wide
embracing death
as he rushes to catch me.
