Description Recently some people started spreading a rumor about finding a three-fingered t-rex in Hell Creek. And people believe it. This rumor has no real proof, no pictures of the fossil in question, and it didn't appear in any scientific journals or major paleontology websites - it only appeared in small blogs with 9 or so readers, and from there it leaked to Wikipedia. AND PEOPLE BELIEVE IT.
Which is why anyone with half a brain can come to the conclusion, that the three-fingered t-rex is a HOAX. While the average t-rex does have remains of a third finger, they are hidden well under the animal's skin (just like the hind legs in modern whales) so the canon stays canon: tyrannosaurus rex has only TWO real fingers on each hand.

Rumor has it all!
I have to agree that any little things can spread into rumor and become something unbelievable XD
