Qibi (Kee-bee)I've been wanting to make my own little critters for a while now.
This is a rough reference sheet that I made up.

I have a question. I get that one gender has liquid pockets on their head and have stubby tails, and the other gender has pockets on their cheeks and fluffy tails. But which is which?

Here are some names:
Dulcis - means sweet, pleasant, delightful, agreeable, charming, and loved in Latin
Vinnies - derived from Vinnulus, latin for charming, sweet
Bellulus - latin for pretty, sweet
Limus - means slime, ooze, sludge
and some mixes of those suggested:
Bellulimies - bellulus and limus
Vinnielimus (or something shorter like Vinnielies) - Vinnies and limus

Just wondering, can the ears move?
For the name, I don't know if you got some sort of background story for these guys, like the environment they live(d) in. Because that may make things easier C: For example the Vulpes Zerda, Its name comes from the Arabic word ΩΩΩ (fanak), which means fox, and the species name zerda comes from the Greek word xeros which means dry, referring to the fox's habitat. You could de something like that : )

I kinda translated liquid to greek, but it gave kinda cool sounding names haha

And their ears kind of remind me of butterfly wings, so perhaps you could combine that with the liquid.
