When I was younger, I saw a lot of films that were focused on what lies below water. Jaws, Creepshow, Leviathan, etc. I inherited a mild form of Thalassophobia to the point to where I would not even want to be in a shallow lake. I know it seems weird but being submerged in the unknown depths is very unnerving to me. One of the episodes of Creepshow called "The Raft" I really developed this untrusting attitude toward viscous fluids that don't seem to belong to an area. It's an older film, but if you are interested, it is definitely one of the more haunting pieces of cinema I've seen. And it's by Stephen King. Cheers!
