The point for this design is to separate her from their original counterpart, who is less prude, more flashy, and is only seen in original settings rather than fandom-space settings. Helena's original counterpart also has an additional surname (Serpentine), separating her from this Helena who you're seeing now.
Helena Mockingbird feels more modest and is a charismatic dreamer. She can be referred to as the "multiverse counterpart" because self-inserting in pre-existing franchises is cool.
