Backstory:

Birth to 1 Year

Reah and Rykard were born in the seclusion of a desert sandstone den tucked into the base of a towering red monolith of a mesa. The two would have been twins if not for the albinism that stained Reah's fur a bleached lilac white. Their mother was disinterested from the start, and as soon as the twins were weaned their mother, Hydra, set out to free herself of their company. She took her two puppies to the nearest pack border she could find and simply left them there without a second thought. Reah and Rykard were found later by a patrol of wolves and taken into the Zarja pack's folds without much dispute from any of the pack's members. Being communally raised, Rykard nor Reah knew a single parental figure, though they did have the pack's social structure and community to fall back into should something ever happen.

As the two siblings grew into their sixth month they began to become more independent bit by bit. However no matter what they did it seemed one could not do anything without the other. The two had a knack for being on the same wave length, and while Rykard's more aloof and weary self relied on his sister's charasmatic dexterity to get them out of a pinch. Rykard's observations and curious mind often served as the voice of reason to tangle his reckless sister into avoiding brash or needlialy daring or dangerous actions. Throughout Reah'a first year of life she tended not to think too hard about the conciquenaions of her actions. Choosing instead to act in her whims and throw caution entirely to the wind. As Reah and Rykard aged into their third season of life Reah grew more bold, and while his sister drifted along life's whims Rykard found a gradual interest in herbology and his mind began to wander further afield as ambitions grew.

1 Year to 2 Years

as a year came and went for the twins, Reah found herself becoming quite bold in her actions and brazen in mind. While in contrast her brother became less timid and more curious to his newfound passion. Reah and Rykard continued to get up to little misadventures throughout their days. Weather it be thieving from a loner they found in the desert to pulling pranks or challenging one another to little games or competition. Though gradually Reah found herself without his company more and more. Perhaps it started when Osirus Yahto took an interest in Rykard's affinity for herbalism and offered to mentor Rykard. Perhaps when his lessons started and Rykard time and time again had to leave and go study with his mentor. Though despite the withdrawal Rykard tried to make time for his sibling, though despite it Reah for the first time get truly alone among a sea of Zarja wolves.

She found herself looking far afield when Rykard would leave for his lessons, and found her mind space and in a fog about her future. It felt to her she spent so much time living in the moment she hadn't given a single passing thought to her future. She began by trying to find a mentor in a fighter, and while physically strong enough to handle the task she hadn't felt a calling. In this way she drifted from task to task as spring and summer passed, and fall reared its eye on the sands. During this time Reah began to wander the pack lands more and more whenever Rykard would be away for his apprenticeship. It felt like the whole world was moving on and merely leaving her in the dust. She spent many nights stargazing alone or mapping out the territory in her walks. She found a sort of comfort in exploration, and not soon long after she had run into a scout, a soptu named Hunra who Reah took a liking to. Reah found herself chatting with Hunra more often and seeking her out whenever Rykard seemed to busy or too tired from his apprenticeship. It seemed only natural Reah ask about Hunra's tas, and for the she-wolf to take a curiosity and interest to the task in turn.

2 Years to Present

As two years of experience came to the siblings Rykard at last passed his final test from Yahto and became a full fledged healer in the eyes of Zarja. In that time Rykard grew to have an immense respect for Yahto, and was determined to do his former mentor proud. Reah and Rykard found themselves spending more time together after his ascension to a healer. Whenever Rykard would need to grab herbs or have free time he found himself increasingly spending time with Reah and Hunra. For a while it felt just like old times for the albino she-wolf, though as she too ar last took on a mentor to become a Sopdu she wasn't sure if it was her own passion calling her to take the task, or a growing crush that began to bloom for Hunra since they met near half a year ago.

Nevertheless Reah began to train as an apprentice to an experienced Sopdu, she found a gradual calling to the task and an unexpected affinity for it. As a year passed and Reah passed her assessment she was cheered by Rykard and at last became a full fledged Sopdu with Hunra. After given her task was given to her Reah couldn't hold herself back from blurting out her crush that bloomed throughout their friendship to Hunra, admitting she was partially the reason Reah initially became a Sopdu, and their time together since then as an apprentice had only affirmed those feelings. Hunra happily accepted Reah's admition and the two quickly began dating to try out a relationship together. Rykard was excited for the arrangement as he too found a genuine friend in Hunra and happily welcomed her as Reah's partner.

Reah and Hunra worked together as a couple for the next year as Sopdu, and throughout many excursions through and outside the desert territory Reah only fell more for Hunra. Over the course of their third year Reah and Hunra would become near inseparable, while Rykard often sought them out whenever he was free of his duties as a healer with Yahto. Though as the fourth year reared it's head Hunra decided to have a talk with Reah. Hunra said she wishes to change tasks and that she felt a slow calling to become a healer. Though supportive Reah was at first confused, though after seeing Hunra be mentored by Yahto she felt that worry flow away. Hunra personally learned under Yahto's mentor ship while Reah remained a Soptu. Though this change in task did little to hinder their relationship, Reah found herself seeking any excuse to spend time with her partner when she was able. Weather it be joining them when Yahto took Hunra out to gather and teach about herbs. Or when Reah was at last done with her tasks for the day and Hunra too was free from her apprenticeship. Duriing her apprenticeship Hunra and Rykard spent more and more time together, and while Rykard knew he shouldn't have he developed a keen liking to Hunra in turn.

During Reah and Rykard's fourth year of life Yahto tragically was killed by a loner named Claudia, the killer vanished but Hunra found him though couldn't save him. Yahto's dying wish was for Hunra to take his place as the next Sekhmet. After Yahto's death Hunra and Rykard grew immensely close over their shared grief. While Reah and Hunra were as close as ever and Reah was there to comfort her partner, Rykard found himself increasingly drawn to Hunra as all three grieved. Though towards present day Reah and Rykard felt a growing tension between them, until Reah at last couldn't take it and confronted Rykard about his crush on Reah's partner. The two siblings for the first time bickered and truly fought, though as the dust settled Rykard brought up a suggestion. They had always done everything together as pups and even after taking their respective tasks. So why should that simply stop there? Rykard suggested they simply share Hunra in a harem. He and Reah of course would remain familial, but since both felt such strong feelings toward the same wolf, so why not simply share her together? Hesitantly Reah and Rykard broached the idea to Hunra one sunny mid-summer afternoon. Hunra accepted the idea and the three now stand on the horizon of their new situation, Reah still remained as a Sopdu while Rykard stayed a healer, though both supported and were there as Hunra ascended to her rank as Sekhmet.
