Sooo I kinda was inspired by Cyberpunk 2077 again. I'm hyped af for that game!

Frankly, the song quoted in the description reminds me more of "cyberprep": the relatively small "networked future will be awesome!" genre. So do your depictions of Lombaxes in general.
But this isn't my dream. My dream is to see the Lombaxes as solarpunk socialists who answer any challenge with solidarity and collective action. I want to see Lombaxes as the people who care for everyone and treat eachother as a society of equals in pursuit of a better tomorrow, for all who want to join them. "Out of many, one."

Yup, the song that i linked perhaps fits my characters and story more than it fits the cyberpunk genre.
The thing is, I’m not trying to fit my story in a single specific genre. I just write what I want and draw what I want. I’m not trying to write a cyberpunk story. In the case of this picture, the new Cyberpunk 2077 trailer inspired me to draw a glowy city scene with my characters. That’s it really.
Yeah, Group Zero may not be dark enough for it to be specifically a cyberpunk story. Not even close tbh. But on the other hand it’s not an overly optimistic and positive description of the lombaxes either. It has some not-so-pleasant scenes and aspects to it. But it also has humour and romance. Honestly, it’s a bit of a confusing mixture of various things but I like it. And that’s the most important thing because I write and draw it for my own pleasure.
As for what you’d like to see the lombaxes depicted as, that’s fine, it’s as good as anyone else’s ideas for AUs. I do know and remember the things you explained to me previously. But forgive me if I don’t see the relevancy as to why you chose once again to inform me of what you like, in the comment section of my picture. I’m not trying to be rude or anything like that here, I’m just genuenly a bit puzzled.

Let me respond to your question with a question: why do you personally think people "shout their opinion into the void" in Internet comments, generally speaking? I do not think I can explain why, but I'm pretty sure that this is the reason. The best explanation I can probably give is "telling people in general what I think". Even if with Lombaxes, I really should know better... =/
And as far as music is concerned... I just realized I think Lombaxes listen to VNV Nation.
