Thanks...I've watched that film so many times and love it so much that I'd be mortified if I didn't manage to capture him right, this is about the 5th attempt I made.

Thanks very much, I'm planning to stay with it, it makes my working time longer but I think the results are worth it.

I can't remember the name of the murderer in StageFright, but he has the head of an OWL! How weird and cool is that xD. The movie's not bad, if you like slashers with a bit of smarts about them it's worth checking out, it's well acted mostly and the cast are nicely written so you actually care if they survive or not.
Well, I loved Saw 2, but thought Saw 3 was a bit tired, and totally preposterous to boot. I mean, the deaths stopped being traps that people could work there way out of and just turned into 'let them die or don't, your choice'. I suppose the moral bent was interesting, but it just got too contrite and OTT for me. Like once they started doing guerilla brain surgery in a basement it was a bit like 'ok, I've seen much worse set up much better for far less money'.
I watch about 4 or 5 horror movies a month easy, so I'm pretty hard to gross out. I drew the line with Hostel 2, which was just nasty for the sake of outdoing the last one, but that was more because there was no film to back up the violence, just the violence, not because it was that sick, it was just a crap film. I find the movies that stick to me like glue and creep me out are the ones with barely any gore, or that are blunt and bleak, not hollywood style. Halloween is really creepy, and makes you jump and scares you easy, but there's no blood right up until the finale, except in the intro. And you look at Ring. Otherworldly creepy...no violence whatsoever.

yeah, some of these producers jsut think that add a load fo blood and you need no story line. YOu need a happy medium of a plot to make sense of the gore....how come we know that and we arent making millions >.>
