Description Did you know? You are more likely to be attacked by a dragon than to be bitten by a shark.

My last stamp was...pretty serious, so I needed a silly stamp to balance it.

I actually had a conversation with a friend of mine (who is terrified of sharks) about the likelihoods of being bitten by one. Y'know...you're more likely to be struck by lightning, get in a plane crash, etc. And finally I said: "You're more likely to be attacked by a DRAGON. " She didn't believe me.

And I decided I needed to share.

And yes. I AM aware that dragons are mythological creatures, and don't exist in all likelihood. Just...so no one gets any weird ideas...

This is a true statistic.
Anyway, thanks for this stamp. Sharks are my favorite animals, and it's really sad to see people being so ignorant about them, thinking "IT'S A SHARK IT'LL EAT YOU".
As far as shark attack statistics go, a shark simply bumping into somebody actually counts as a shark attack. Just comes to show what a majority of those statistics actually are.

XD Not to mention the attacks where a person steps on a shark, or provokes it some way, or is swimming with them...

Lol, the very first person who got "attacked" by TWO sharks at once survived without a scratch on him . He pretty much said that he had a MUCH bigger respect for sharks after that. Cheers for him !
