I have noticed some of the cats in your photography are missing part of their ear. Is there a sertain reason to that or is it just a coincidence?

I cut them!!!....hehehe no,but you are right..I tried to understand why 40% of the cats in this cemetery have their right ear chopped...some say it could be the generation from an alpha cat living there that pass on this dominant gene , or maybe they are marked by an organisation that castred stray cats and releases them...donΒ΄t know..but it is strange indeed...I have some 35 pictures of diffent cats with this same mark...on the same side...

Wow, that is so strange-40%?! Thank you for trying to explain it to me and giving two explanations to why that could be. I never had thought about the dominant gene. Thanks again!

I had the confirmation yesterday as I went there again with food for the cats....and I met a responsible of the cemetery that told me the males are being castrated and marked..their way to try to control the reproduction..even though they are hundreds of them and hungry....

That's interesting, thank you for sharing that with me. It seems sad that it came to that, but in the end it probably is a good thing.
