It's a wonderful and strong photo, I love the surreal effect given by the lensbaby

Powerful and surreal in a child way....give a fish, feed for a day, teach him to fish, feed for a lifetime

he follows his father fisherman everyday helping to push the nets...a lot of work to get only very little fish as they cannot afford a boat ..

So Sad, and here,Quebec, Canada, where fish were so plentiful so 17th century explorers of the St-Lawrence Gulf, said you could have walk on them as if on land, and today there is almost nothing left, some blame the seals but what about modern factory-boat who can process TONS of fish each days, local fishermen cannot earn a living....

cruel?..I donΒ΄t think so...those fish are part of his survival...he put them back in his basket together with a few more they caught with his father who is a poor fisherman...no fish ,no food...and they repeat the process everyday..
