I love that connection man - nature. From one perspective - it's not really important is it male or female, but since it's male - it's very manful.
and your story about swimming, and animals...
it's just magical.

o mar estΓ‘ com uma textura interessante, nΓ£o sei se pela velocidade do obturador que o congelou, ou pela luz... eu tava vendo a ficha tΓ©cnica:
Shutter Speed: 1/250 second
F Number: F/13.0
Focal Length: 100 mm
ISO Speed: 100
Date Picture Taken: Mar 1, 2009, 12:12:31 PM
meio dia, com essa velocidade e sem sobras fortes, devia estar nublado.

Well, we'll have to setting on a mutual admiration club! Here the light is good these days, but it is below freezing most days, and well away from spring, sadly...though when spring does arrive, I will have my newly converted Canon 5D MKII for infrared, which will be quite an upgrade from the Nikon D80 I currently use! Bring on the light!

The 5DM MKII will do a number of things for my images - more pixels is certainly one of them; I still stitch (I already have my colour MKII), more actually, as I get more benefit from 2-3 frames stitched than I used to (going to 30-40mp where before that would have taken 10-20 frames to achieve). This week I ordered a nine-square foot (about 1 square meter) print of one of my frozen flowers...it was an 11 frame stitch with the MKII...that would have needed something like 30+ frames from a 12mp camera to provide the same resolution and angle of view...quite a difference in work!
But there are other reasons - shallower depth of field from proportionally longer lenses (an 85mm f/1.2 has much less DOF than a 50mm f/1.4, and with the 24mm f/1.4, I'll be able to take images with a wide lens that have shallow depth of field), and full frame camera means access to proportionally wider lenses - Sigma makes a 12-24mm that covers full frame, which is about the equivalent of an 8mm for an APS-C sensor...which just doesn't exist...and that is 27% wider than you can go with a 10mm lens on APS-C. And of course, there is just the personal preference of camera design - I have always loved the wheel on the back of Canon's mid and high level camera...the Nikon D300 is a magnificent camera, but I prefer the design of the MKII...
