Once hailed as the champion of Paldea, Nemona's days of glory had long since faded, replaced by the harsh reality of survival in the unforgiving depths of Area 0. Driven into hiding by the looming specter of Yveltal's wrath, Nemona sought refuge in the labyrinthine caves that riddled the region, hoping to escape the chaos that ravaged the world above.
It was within the shadowy confines of these caverns that Nemona's fate took a chilling turn. Encountering a mysterious Pokémon known as Ferocious Appeal, Nemona found herself locked in a fierce battle for survival. Despite her prowess as a battler, Nemona soon realized that she was outmatched by the relentless onslaught of her adversary.
In a desperate bid to turn the tide of battle, Nemona's body underwent a startling transformation. Her hands erupted from their flesh, morphing into formidable red claws, while her legs became encased in armored plating, each step reverberating with the ominous click of chitinous appendages.
Emerging victorious from the crucible of combat, Nemona embraced her newfound identity as the Skittering Predator, a primal force of nature lurking in the shadows of Area 0.
Pokedex Entry: Skittering Predator - bug/dragon - The Primal Menace After much searching, Iron Hologram was able to locate what had happened to one of Penny’s compatriots. However, bringing them back to the present was more difficult than we had imagined, even with their knowledge from the future. What was brought back was not the Pokémon Battler Nemona; no, this was quicker, fiercer, more primal than anything we’d encountered. We’ve begun to call them Skittering Predator. Be warned, if you are journeying through Area Zero and hear the clicking against walls, she is already close.
Moveset:
Dragon Claw - Skittering Predator slashes at its foes with its razor-sharp claws, dealing damage and potentially causing them to flinch.
Bug Buzz - Skittering Predator emits a cacophonous buzzing sound, assaulting its opponents with a powerful burst of bug energy.
Iron Head - Skittering Predator charges forward, headbutting its foes with its armored skull, potentially causing them to flinch.
Shadow Sneak - Skittering Predator melds into the shadows, swiftly striking at its opponents with ghostly claws before they can react.
Ability: Primal Instincts: Skittering Predator's primal instincts grant it heightened senses and reflexes, allowing it to react swiftly to threats. This ability increases its evasion and critical hit ratio, making it a formidable opponent in battle. Additionally, it has a chance to ignore the effects of moves that lower its stats, shrugging off attempts to weaken its ferocious resolve.
