I finished DWD ages ago and I can't get Theon out of my head. I'm currently re-reading GoT but yesterday I had to stop due to a violent fit of hysterical laughter after that sentence in Bran's POV: "Theon Greyjoy had once commented that Hodor did not know much, but no one could doubt that he knew his name."
Oh, please, I hope Theon gets out of all this as hale as is at all possible.

SPOILERS IF YOU HAVEN'T READ DWD:

I hated Theon for the things he did in "ACOK",but he soon went to the bottom of my hate list and became one of my favorite characters for showing his courage(when Bran helped him remember who he was).In the meantime,this book put Ramsay at the top of my hated list(which was originally headed by Cersei,but she was moved to second place after her fall in FFC.

P.S:The story Tris Botley told Asha sugguests to me that she may try to rebuild Theon as the heir of Pyke to overthrow Euron,as he wasn't able to state his claim there.That may be a bit difficult now...

Oh man, I would *kill* for some sort of Asha/Theon teamup (I am the older sister to a little brother and I have FEELINGS about this, ok XD). Yeah, it's hard given the state he's in (did you read the spoiler chapter GRRM put on his site?), but who knows, there's... still hope? (lol am I saying there is still hope in this series)

Tbh I didn't have a strong reaction to Theon prior to this, though I understand why he was ehm, soured to a lot of people. It's hard to like a turncloak who is also generically a jerk I guess (though a believable, well written one)... but the shit he goes through in Dance is disproportionately cruel I think, and I totally saw him like a victim there.

I didn't like Theon very much before ADwD, but oh my god, the Reek chapters were the BEST in the book and now I think I'm a little in love with Theon. I just want to nurse him back to health and make everything better. ;_; But, honestly, the whole torture experience totally made him that much less of a jerkass.

Love the vertical composition on this one, and the strong black-and-white contrast is awesome -- I can't even picture "Reek" in color, everything about him should be stark and desaturated, I think. Poor guy. :[

Yeah, as some other commenter noted, he totally pulled a "Jaime losing his hand" character arc, except ten times more traumatic and horrible D: I just want him to be safe now tbh. Possibly with Asha going all Big Sister and avenge him in some way /lol ideal world

I'm glad you liked the style *_* I'm trying to go back to my roots with the inking lately and Reek's chapters just lend themselves to black and white. Honestly I kept thinking of the early chapters of Berserk by Kentaro Miura while reading them, it's pretty much the same atmosphere.
