Description I wanted to do quite a "liquid" watercolour with very rough pencils, since I ususally don't do it... the characters are, from left to right, Tessa, Sebastian Shaw, and Emma Frost, part of the "classic" Hellfire Club of the X-Men comics. The Club was in my first X-Men comicbook ever, so I'm kinda attached to those rich bastards!

This is the ONLY way to portray HFC...thank you SO much for taking the time to do such a beautiful piece, and to share it. I'm always on the hunt for old school Emma (can't stand her since Morrison got his hands on her), and old school HFC, so this was an incredibly welcome and delightful surprise.

I need to try going back again and learn to have it both ways. I tried a few years back, but finally gave up the titles. I miss reading them. I still hold all my HFC issues with reverence and pride, though, which is what drew me to this picture. Thanks again for sharing it.

I think this was probably my favorite of my recently favorited. I love the fiery colors in the background, not only offsetting the characters so that they really stand out in the forefront, but alluding the "hellfire" part of their group's name. Awesome.

Haha, I know how you feel about being attached. I was flipping through my father's comic books the other day and found Emma and I got all excited. I love Emma, though I must admit that Betsy if my favorite character.

I have never read a story with the Hellfire Club but the concept and character rock. Plus it has Emma Frost (aka; the White Queen) THE bitch of the Marvel universe.
