Three hours?? It takes me at the LEAST a whole day to draw & colour one traditional piece!

Well if trained a lots or already know what to colour the colour pencil can be done quickly, as well as soft pastel and watercolour.
Time also decide quality of an artwork, but also depend on the artist, purpose of drawings,etc... lol
Although digital art is much more easy, still there is some feeling cannot get from the traditional art.

High quality digital art pieces to me aren't any easier that traditional art, & I don't exactly have as much time on my hands as I would like. Drawing isn't something I do ALL the time either, but like you said, it depends on the artist.
I almost always use coloured pencils & if not, watercolour.

Umm ... I can't say digital art usually takes more time than traditional art c: It depends on the person. Some people can do traditional art for only 2 hours or maybe a day. Some people can do digital art for 3 hours or an hour c:

It would probably take just as long for me to do a digital art piece if I spend the whole day on it, but like you said, it depends on the artist, & I don't exactly spend ALL of my time doing art either, even though it's fun. What kind of program d you use to do you're digital art?
