He's back. Again. The man whose entire existence is a Critical Role nod that's become so very much more.

Since being released by a certain dragon-blooded Champion, Norstad's High King (and only uniformly recognized 'governmental' authority) has been busy. The world he knew has changed, as he saw after spending less than a week in Alola. He did eventually return to Kalos as well, when he heard a certain Giant had also come out of hiding for the first time (to his knowledge) in millennia. Unlike his fellow Kalosian immortals, Yggdrassil grants not great height, but great youth, and those who earn her blessing retain their looks until their inevitable end.

He made quite a few new friends before being dragged into the political whirlpool that is a continental-scale war, and fully intends on trying his hand at this 'World Champion' thing. If only to see if the League still has a record of his last victory. It's a shame nobody told him he needs at least eight badges, from anywhere, to qualify for such a Tournament. Not being able to use two of his strongest might be a bit of a surprise as well, but his matches will undoubtedly be entertaining.
